Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GamePlan Athletics collects when you use our site and recruiting tools (the Big Board, Roster Intel, and any evaluation add-on), why we collect it, and how it's handled.

Information We Collect

Membership (Big Board & Roster Intel)

When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you book a call, or fill in the contact form, we also collect what you give us there, such as your name, phone number, position, graduation year or class, school and X (Twitter) handle.
Your email address identifies your account. You sign in with a one-time link or code we email you, so we never see or store a password. To keep codes from being shared, the sign-in has to finish on the same internet connection that asked for it; we use your connection's address only for that check and don't keep it. If you give us a mobile number, it is contact information so a coach can reach you.
If you ask for a Jump Start call, we note the request and share your sign-up details with GamePlan Athletics staff so a coach can set up the call.
We'll only text you recruiting tips and updates if you give us a mobile number and opt in. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Account & sign-in

Your email address, used to send you a one-time sign-in link and code (we don't use passwords).

Purchase information

Your email address and payment details, processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Which product(s) you purchased and the amount paid, so we can show you the right access on your dashboard.

Athlete information (evaluation scheduling)

If you purchase an evaluation, we collect the athlete's name and graduation year, and the time you book, to prepare for and conduct the call.
Scheduling is handled through Calendly. Booking a time shares your name, email, and selected time with Calendly under their own privacy policy.

Big Board & Roster Intel inputs

Measurables, academic info, and production stats you enter to generate a Grade My Fit and Academic Fit comparison, or Roster Intel results. These are used to calculate your results and are not sold or shared with schools or third parties.

We don't run ads and we don't sell your information. GamePlan Athletics doesn't share your data with advertisers, and we don't let anyone pay to be featured or ranked higher in your results.

How We Use Information

To create and secure your account, and show you the access you've signed up or paid for
To verify your phone number and sign you in
To let GamePlan Athletics follow up about recruiting help, if you'd like it (by email, or by text only if you opted in)
To process payments and send purchase confirmations
To schedule and prepare for evaluation calls
To generate your Grade My Fit and Academic Fit comparisons, and your Roster Intel results
To respond when you contact us directly

Who We Share Information With

We use a small number of service providers to run our site and tools. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

Stripe: payment processing
Supabase: account authentication and database storage
Calendly: evaluation call scheduling
Google / Gmail: sending transactional emails (purchase confirmations, sign-in links)

We don't sell, rent, or share your information, including your phone number, with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

Minors

Many of our users are high school student-athletes. You must be 13 or older to sign up; we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and we'll delete it if we learn we have. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review this policy and be involved in any purchase or evaluation scheduling made on your behalf. High school recruits give a parent or guardian email when signing up.

Data Retention & Your Choices

We keep your account and purchase information for as long as your account is active, and as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.

Security

We rely on our providers' security practices (Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication and storage) rather than storing sensitive data ourselves. No system is 100% secure, but we don't store full payment details on our own servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our site and tools change. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
